History
With both parents being professional DJs, it wasn't hard for Reece Baskin to take to music at a very early age. Receiving his first hip hop vinyl at the age of 4, his love for the art grew quickly as a child. Listening to any and everything that he could get his hands on, Reece started rapping at 13. At home, school, parties...Reece capitalized on every opportunity he could to perfect his craft. He started recording his high school with friend Justin Kocent, passing tapes between a tightly knit group of friends.
At 19 Baskin became Reece Quotable and started his journey into the Rochester hip hop scene. From cypher to cypher, Reece was intent on spreading his honest, lyrical style of emceeing with the masses. Now, with Reece pushing his product and the Goonies Crew behind the boards, Reece Q has been making waves as a local favorite.
His stage presence is undeniable and his lyrical prowess justifies a pullback on any given track. Q is currently working on a project produced by Husky (Goonies Crew) and is looking to record and release a mixtape in the near future.
Reece Q has performed alongside the likes of Slick Rick, Zion-I, Louis Logic, Homeboy Sandman, Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes, Hassaan Mackey (Rawkus top 50), Sean Price, Copywrite, Philadelphia Slick and more. He's also appeared on tracks with Junclassic (Monsta Island Czars), Monsta X (Monsta Island Czars) and Copywrite (Mhz, ODOT Recordings),J57,deejay element(Brown Bag All-Stars)
